  • CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!! I HATE when I foget about something in my life that ACTUALLY makes life easier... One of those instances is Maple Heights Hardware. This place rocks my face off!!!! Used to live in MH a decade or so ago and the dudes and I would specifically go there instead of the big box stores because we could find ANYTHING!!!!! If you couldn't find it there you didn't need ti!!! So fast forward to just recently, was there with one of my "special needs" coworkers to get some tools for a job yanking out old equipment from a building downtown. Remembering I used to shop here in a past life and also knowing they are well stocked with hard things to find I asked about a belt for a bench sander that I have been looking for AGES!!! So I get walked over to a selection of belts that blows my mind because staring me right in the face is the 1/4 toothed flat belt that I wasn't even able to find online!!!!!! Oh My God are you kidding?? Cooler thing? I want to buy it but he says just take it and if it works good, if not you know where we are.... Is this 1950 where people are this friendly and accomodating???? I guess I just traveled back in time to where people really do care about their customers!!!!! Bet yer ass I will be heading on over there from the west side to do business for now on!!!!!
