I wish I took pictures. I doubt I can adequately describe the meal.
Our friend had the white sangria ... yum.
We started with the portabella with mozzarella appetizer ... very generous portion ... comfortably served 3.
The house salad was very good. I had a large piece of salmon. Others at our table had the scallops wrapped in bacon and lamb chops. Fresh vegetables and rice were served family style. I could have made a meal on just the vegetables and rice.
The dessert tray came out ... it was tempting ... we all chose a sorbet. The lemon sorbet was served in a lemon. My mango was served in a halved mango and the watermelon was served on a huge slice of watermelon rind.
The almond liquer served at the end of the meal could easily become addictive. I asked the owner about purchasing a bottle at the liquor store. Apparently the label on the bottle changed and the LCB hasn't given it a new code. I will add it to my future purchases list.
Looking forward to coming back.
Another accolade ... free parking next door to the restaurant.
