I revisited Lure Oyster bar on September 12th and the overall experience was much better. For appetizers we ordered a dozen and half raw oysters and a spinach dip. Both were good except I had one oyster that tasted really bad. The rest were fine. Out of all the entrees ordered, the scallops dinner stood out and was fantastic. The waiter we had was great and very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to explain all the differences in the oysters. As far as a negative, I do think the menu is limited and it is a bit pricey. The parking is an absolute nightmare due to Bradshaws Social House and there are tons of kids running around due to Hawthornes Pizza right next door. So the atmosphere is very mixed. I still don't think it would be my first choice for a dinner out but it did make for an enjoyable evening.
