  • I hate it so so much :-( I had a formal event in the evening so I decided to treat myself to a blowout/bang trim the day of to not worry about doing my hair. I'm a working mom of a toddler and if you have toddlers, you know you can barely put on a sock without them needing you, lol. So I booked my appointment. I waited about ten minutes and nobody acknowledged me. Granted, they were very busy and the girl at the desk was on the phone. After ten minutes, I did walk up to the desk and she told me she would be with me soon, kinda prompting me to sit back down. So my appointment was about 15 minutes late. Not too bad, but still... I have shoulder length hair and had some pictures of Reese Witherspoon and some other celebs with my hair length with full volume and beautiful light beach waves that looked effortless. I asked if it could be done with my length and was told yes. I came out with the top of my head flat and the curls at the bottom that look like Shirley Temple's. I hate hate HATE it. I'm really bad with hair so when I do try to curl it at home, this is the exact result I get...flat hair then tight Cindy Brady-esque curls that make my face look fat and 12. I'm so bummed out. I had to run errands after and was so embarrassed, I threw my hair in a bun. I'm so sad that for my event I will hate my hair so bad. :-( To have spent 65 bucks on something so crappy that I could do at home is heartbreaking. I never go get my hair, nails, or make up done and thought today was a real treat. Nope. I hate hate hate my hair. Although I do also take responsibility because she asked if I liked it and she did kind of read my mind because she assured me the curls would come loose later today. I said yeah that's fine because I'm not a jerk, second, they were very busy with like 6 people waiting so I wasn't about to make her redo my entire head. I'm very very respectful of people, especially those working on a weekend a customer service type job. I still gave her a good tip and said all is fine. I just can't bring myself to complain :-( She was pleasant and professional...I just hate hate hate my hair :-( I wouldn't go back here, or anywhere, actually for a blow out. I'll keep my 50-60 bucks and do my crappy curls at home for free since it's the same outcome :-(
