Some Bullet Points:
- Our unit is a Rheem 15 seer series is less than 3 years old
- We have a 10 year manufacturer warranty and a 3 year warranty through Orangutan for cooling maintenance, heating maintenance and refrigerant R-410A through Orangutan Home Services
- 30-50% Higher quote than other companies
-Whent they came out, the unit was still working at night, they disconnected the senro bulb and left it disconnected.
- They did not tell us that if we ran the unit with the sennsor bulb disconnected it would flood our compressor and ruin that too!
- Not honoring the 3 year cooling maintenance and refigerant replacement warranty we have through them- said they would, but then added a bunch of other stuff to make up for the charge
- We have been a week without any Air- I have 2 children under the age of 4
-We have spent additional money on coolers & fans to survive
-Still 86-89 degrees in our house
-spent 45 minutes on the phone with Rheem only to have them put me on hold again and then HANG UP ON ME
- Hendel's AC (who we are having do the repair given Orangutan are rip off artists) actually told us that Rheem mentioned to them that the valve and coil were part of a current class action lawsuit, but then did not want to make it right with us.
-from everything I have read this unit is a lemon, RHEEM is a crap company and Orangtuan Home Services are a bunch of rip off artists. We will likely have to replace this unit eventually, being out another $8900 dollars.
