  • I remember when I came out to Las Vegas during the Summer of 2006 for my internship and on the very first day I was here, my Mom told me that she laid out a newspaper article for me that I'd find very interesting. It was all about the Pinball Hall Of Fame! What a perfect place for a pinball lover like myself to enjoy while I was here! This was back when Tim had his old location near Tropicana Cinemas! I've had the pleasure of spending many hours at this fine establishment playing classics from the 80s that I grew up on like Super Hang On, Chex Hockey, Outrun, Paperboy, and of course the original TRON from 1982! Tim's collection is full of nostalgic memories. Retro 80s favorites like PinBot and Funhouse, plus contemporary favorites like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and even Tron Legacy! People complaining about how Tim "made my kid cry because he yelled at him..." or "he told my kid to stop beating up on a machine, we won't be back..." you just don't get it. This is not a place where they're going to "bend over backwards" for you because you're a customer/tourist. This is like the classic video arcades of yesteryear where you go in, look around at all the neon colored flashing lights and listen to all the crazy sounds surrounding you. You immerse yourself in this amazing world of electronic gameplay combined with vintage imagery. There's no greater feeling than putting a few quarters into a machine and playing for a couple minutes, only to hear that unforgettable 'CLICK!!!!' as you get that Extra Ball! I've been in there sometimes longer than I wanted to be just because I was doing THAT GOOD on a machine! It's a great place for parties and hangouts with friends and Tim can be very accommodating as long as you obey the rules and have fun. Remember, just because your kid can't understand the concept, doesn't mean it's a bad place. If they'd prefer looking at their phone and get more excitement and enjoyment out of playing Angry Birds, then this place isn't for them. The only thing I wish about this place, is that Tim would bring in my all time favorite pinball machine from the days of playing in the arcades of Rehoboth Beach boardwalk back in Wilmington, Delaware; the Back to the Future pinball machine! Fingers crossed that you will get one put in your establishment some day Tim! Keep up the great work!
