EDIT: I was recently contacted by Associated Dentists about my review. They told me that they parted ways with Dr. McCallum, and that he is now working at Midwest Dental-Cross Plains (why anyone would hire him again is beyond me). I'm leaving this review up here only because I want to make sure that anyone searching for Dr. McCallum will have a good chance of seeing my experience so they can avoid it themselves. The rest of the staff at Associated was always friendly, and although it's too late now, the office offered to do some restorative work at a discounted price. The fact that they got rid of McCallum tells me that they do care about their patients, and I would assume the rest of their staff is as excellent as the reviews have stated.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had five small to medium cavities filled by McCallum three years ago, and as of now they have ALL resulted in root canals. The final filling was so poorly done it even separated from the tooth and allowed more decay behind it. By the time my current dentist found it, it was already at the root. Thanks for killing five of my teeth. I don't care if this dentist was having a bad day, I'm never going back.
As a comparison, my new dentists Drs Byce and Worman have not only beautifully cleaned up the mess, but have also successfully filled seven more cavities, and guess what? All those have been just fine. Need I say more?
