  • I had a leaking Moen faucet in my kitchen and found out that it came with a lifetime warranty. Moen sent me a brand new one (newest model) within 3 days! I had a yearly contract with an AC, heating and plumbing service from one of the largest (if not the largest) home improvement stores in the country. They gave me a "VIP price" of $269 to install it. I searched the internet and found these great reviews of Arturo the Plumber and decided to call him. He called right back and asked me to text him my address. I sent him my address along with two photos; one of the old faucet and one of the corrosion under the kitchen cabinet, and asked if he could give me an estimate based on the photos. He was able to give me a fantastic estimate about 1/3 the price of my contracted company. The installation went perfectly and I am now a big fan of Arturo. So, I have learned that big companies charge more and their plumbers work on a commission. This is why it is better to hire a local plumber who can charge a reasonable amount. From now on Arturo is my man!
