After eating at another Gyro place religiously for years, they started to cheap out.
My daughter told us to try this place. We were pleasantly surprised!
We ordered the Gyro Pita Sandwich and it was loaded with meat! The pita was slightly crispy on the outside and was so flavorful on its own, I ate the whole thing.
They gave us a cup of lentil soup on this cold evening and it was yummy too. (For the record, I have always hated lentil soup)
Hubby was starving and wolfed it down so he ordered another one. He got another cup of soup, but this time his pita was overcooked and dark. That changes the flavor of the meal, so he said it was not as good as the first one. But it was still loaded with meat and he was full.
The restaurant is unassuming but clean. As a matter of fact you could smell the cleanser and the gentleman was cleaning tables as we entered.
Their prices are great and I look forward to going back and trying the shawarmas, the salad and the various plates. And maybe, just maybe the delish looking baklava!!
