  • What a disappointment! My boyfriend and I visited because we are new to Phoenix, live downtown and this place had excellent reviews. It is WAY overrated. I was handed a dirty, torn menu right off the bat (it even had summer specials even though it was fall). That is enough indication of the amount of care put into a restaurant. We then had to ask for a waitress when no one attended us in a reasonable amount of time. When she came by, she was not in the least bit welcoming. We ordered drinks hoping it was just a fluke. Nope...the poor attitude continued when our orders arrive and we were asked what we wanted to order. We decided against eating here, paid for our drinks and headed to the Chamber's next door - where we had an amazing time. Pomo's was such a waste of time.
