  • I listened to the Siren's Song..."Feathers, Feathers...We have Feathers". Then my boat crashed on the rocks and my hair died a horrible Siren/Feather induced death. I've been to both the Lwood and the Coventry Crazy Mullets before. In Lwood, my hair (medium length hair, mind you) took 2 hours to cut. In Coventry, the last cut I received, I had to go back the next day because it was noticeably uneven and completely disappointing. Then even still, the next time I got it cut the hairdresser noted that the back was 1.5" uneven in the back. Oh, but the Feathers...the Feathers called me back! You see, my recent favorite, the Studio sees them as too much of a fad and they didn't even want to bother. Gosh darned it, I want feathers though! So what do I do? Go to Crazy Mullets and ask for a quick trim and two feathers. The hairdresser I got was one I hadn't gone to before (yay! since last time was such a disappointment), but I have to wonder if she has had ANY hairdressing training? She took my hair, pulled it straight up and cut. Then she cut the next layer, on top of my head. Then the next. She did this till she ruined my hair. You know, this is a decent idea if well...my head were flat. Unfortunately it's not... it's round. A round head. How novel! Anyway, this technique left me with really short weird layers on the top and no layers on the bottom. So, umm...at least I like my feathers?
