  • I called Zerorez to get my carpets cleaned prior to the birth of our child. We knew that we would be having lots of guests over and were embarrassed by how dirty our carpet had become. After hearing and reading the reviews I picked up the phone to schedule an appointment. First impressions are always important and they did not fail at this. Charles answered the phone and was friendly and professional. He gave me plenty of information about their services and how to prepare. This is very helpful because the customer is responsible for moving any furniture out of the rooms prior to cleaning. He was able to give me a 3 hour window of time that was further narrowed down two days prior. My tech arrived right on time and I informed him of the rooms that we would be cleaning, then stayed out of the way. Upon completion, which took around an hour, he provided me with booties to wear inside while the carpets dried. The next day when everything was dried I checked out the rooms and was not happy with the work. There were many areas of the carpet that were still dirty and that he clearly did not spend enough time on, so I contacted the company letting them know this. I was 2 weeks away from my due date and had furniture arriving so I was in a panic. This was not the outcome I had expected from a company that is so highly rated. After speaking with Shelly they not only sent out a new tech that week, but he did the rooms again at no extra charge. Once he finished we walked through the areas and they were 100 times cleaner. Plus as an added gift for the bad service they provided me with a onesie for our baby. Their great customer service and fixing the problem is why I gave them 4 stars. If it had been done right the first time I would have given them a perfect score, but it was an inconvenience to have to move furniture a second time and took time away from work twice. My advice to anyone using Zerorez is to make sure that you do a walk through with your tech before and after to make sure that they explain everything to you and that you are satisfied with the work. I did not do this because I was unaware that they are supposed to until I spoke with Shelly.
