  • This will be the last time me or my fiancĂ© come to Massage Envy. We usually have a good experience here, but lately it seems like they have become extremely unorganized and unprofessional. My fiancĂ© called last week to schedule me a massage with my favorite therapist, Carenza. It was a complete surprise, and I had no idea that he was planning this for me. When he made the appointment he specifically told them that it was a surprise, and to not call my phone number to confirm, but to call his instead. He was very specific because last year I had booked a surprise massage for him for the location in Avondale, and he received a phone call which ruined the surprise.. Of course... The day before..I got a voicemail.. It was Kayla from Massage Envy calling to confirm my massage for the next day.. He was extremely disappointed that his surprise had been ruined yet again, when he made a point to tell them...He called and spoke to the office and explained what had happened.. She looked up the file, and said that she had no idea why they called, because she could see the notation in the computer stating it was a surprise and to not call. At this point it is what it is, I was still looking forward to my massage and I was fine looking past it. Well. Last night I went in for my 6:30 massage.. The lady up front was very nice, and offered me a free upgrade for the inconvenience, which I was very appreciative about.. I was about to be sent back, and then she introduced me to my therapist, which was not Carenza.. I asked when she would be in next, and they said that they were working out her part time schedule and would find out.. After ten minutes of them trying to call the schedule manager...and asking the other girls in the back, they had no answer for me. Fortunately I do have her contact info, and the girls up front said for me to just contact her personally.. I was able to get a hold of her, to which she informed me that she hasn't worked there for over two weeks and that she shouldn't even be in the schedule.. So why would they schedule me with someone who didn't even work there? Nonetheless it was my last visit.
