  • Was staying at Caesar's Palace and this was the default pool. All I wanted was to take off my shirt, get wet, and pretend to know how to swim. Instead, I was treated to a roman public bath experience, minus the coed nudity stuff (QQ...). Make your way towards the Palace Tower near the Bacchanal Buffet and youll find yourself in a part of the hotel that smells a bit like vomit, but keep going and you'll find the entrance to the pool deck. There's a gentleman there who'll hand out towels if you show him your room key. Make your way through the grounds and do your best to scout out an empty lounge chair to put your towels and belongings because there aren't any lockers here (or at least none that I knew of). Don't bring anything valuable! There was a main "Temple Pool" with the cool fountains and statuaries which I found to be the most enjoyable. Water is warm, heated, and the water level is shallow enough where only the shortest of people, and young children, could drown. Seriously, I think the lifeguards here have the cushest of jobs. Unfortunately there are no water slides or diving allowed. The neptune pool rests right next to the poolside bar, which is staffed by scantily clad women with large chests. I wouldn't wear long pants to this bar as the bar stools barely extend above the surface of the water. Drinks are pricey so expect to pay 30 dollars for that pina colada! Don't bother trying to swim in the neptune pool as most people use this for socializing, and I wouldn't be surprised if some booze spilled into the water because the water here smelled a lot more like liquor. Bacchus pool was closed, but there were two other small pools in the corners which I didn't check out. There are cabanas and plush daybeds for those of you who are high rollers $$$$$$ but peasants such as myself just come here for the dip. The atmosphere here feels very luxurious and grand, with beautiful white concrete all over and romanesque sculptures. It really does have that garden-temple-pool-oasis-public-bath kinda feel to it and I'm totally all about that. So if you happen to stay here, come check this place out. It sure beats the Mcdonald's Playpalace.
