I am in Phoenix for a 4 day work conference. My colleagues and I went here last night and grabbed a table in the corner. My colleagues all ordered beer (I sampled some IPA's but wasn't a fan of any) and I ordered a cocktail. My go to is a Gin and Tonic, what I received was a Gin and flat sugar water. Normally I would just mention it to the waitress/bartender and swap it out and I'm a happy guy. But......the waitress came to my table and looked annoyed that I thought it was flat. She even went as far to say that she sampled it herself and knew without a doubt that it wasn't flat to her. Ummm....you must not have sampled a hell of a lot of fun and tonics to think this drink wasn't flat lol. I had to sit there and defend my comment, my colleagues were equally hysterical as they were trying to justify my comment and pointing at this glass of ice water (no bubbles lol).
Come on, we shouldn't have to do that!
I changed my drink after talking with a different bartender and we left shortly after. That is why I'm taking time out of my morning to review this place, that gal blows my mind on how she's working in any service industry. My goal was not to argue with you darlin, I just wanted a drink and to spend time with colleagues Simone.
