  • I brought in a very sick stray, and was given very few options, none of which I could afford. I was told she might "make it," and to take her home and observe for a few days. By the next afternoon it was clear she was getting worse. I took her to a completely different vet, who offered to show me how to do subcutaneous saline injections (a treatment that Animal Hospital of Laveen would only do as in-patient at 5x the cost) as well as antibiotics and pain medicine. I am appalled that this vet office allowed me to leave without even antibiotics or pain Meds, seemingly because I didn't want to pay their premium price,
