I decided to give this location a shot and was helped by Mike. He helped me choose between a few tires and we decided on the BFG KO2's for the Tundra. The steel OEM wheels has a 40 degree TPMS sensor and most alloys run 20 degree sensors so we decided to attach the TPMS with bands.
We got the new wheels/tires mounted and I was on my way. A few days later my TPMS threw a code saying that there was a failure. I came back today asking them to take a look at it. Their OBD readers wouldn't pick up the sensors because the tundra was 2018. Mike said he would take a look at it and see if we can figure out the problem.
Mike was able to figure out that the Method NV wheels could in fact fit the 40 degree sensors which was a bit odd. We took off the bands and inserted the TPMS back into the original location at the valve stem. He also refunded me the original money for the bands.
After driving off the lot, the TPMS code went away and all was good. I am happy with the service I received and am glad that Discount Tires stands behind their work. I will be back again for my tire needs.
