| - This is my fifth time in Vegas and I've stayed at five different hotels every single time and hands down this is my favorite hotel! I'm drawn to more modern, quirky hotels and this definitely is. From the changing video graphics in the lobby and elevators, to the clean and hip hotel rooms this place fits the bill for me. Oh yeah... the bill. Not the cheapest option, but not the most expensive either. I definitely thought I got my money's worth.
I heard that this hotel was originally supposed to be apartments. I'm not sure how much they changed the layout, but we lucked out with a suite, and we didn't even upgrade. I had friends who also stayed here in another room with two beds and they didn't have a suite like we did. Our room even had two bathrooms... which, let me tell you, was amazing! The one bathroom alone was big, but then the other bathroom was huge with a large walk in shower, separate toilet room and double sink. Then there was a small dining room table, large screen TV and lounger couch. The bed was comfy and I was super happy with the room in general.
This trip, we specifically went to a hotel with an open and heated pool. In November that's a hard one. When I looked quickly, there were only about 4 hotels that offer that. While the pool that's open is small, it was perfect for what we wanted. Plus, there was a decent sized hot tub for the cooler days.
I think a lot of casino's can seem dingy, even in a well maintained hotel. Maybe it's the lighting or decor, but it didn't feel dingy to me. It was also easy to navigate, which I don't think some hotel casino's are because they're so massive. This casino isn't large, but it offers what you need if you like to gamble.
I also enjoy a lot of the restaurant options. I've actually dined here on another trip, so I've hit up a fair share of restaurants in here and all of them have been great. I went to Scarpetta and Holstein's prior to my stay and enjoyed them. This time around I also ate at the Juice Standard and Eggslut. LOVED Eggslut and actually went twice because it was so good. The Juice Standard was the only miss, pretty bland smoothie. I loved Rose. Rabbit. Lie. It was hidden bar/speakeasy in the back of the conference floor, but well worth the find.
This was honestly the first time we stayed at the hotel complex most of the time, instead of hotel/casino hopping. We ate, drank and lounged here most of the weekend, with a few jaunts out. I think that's why I like this hotel the most, because I felt like everything that was available to use was top notch. I honestly think if I come to Vegas again I'd stay here instead of hopping around again.
