rev:text	Really? I'm the FIRST to give Lucy's a yelp after they've been in business for more than 40 YEARS?!! I guess that just proves the point of my yelp -- this is probably the greatest little pastry shop you've NEVER heard of! I just recently found them online and I'll be going back as long as they're open. Unfortunately, this might not be too long since people don't know how good it is and they might be moving out of the neighborhood, which would be a shame. Want to know why I love Lucy's? I live in Los Angeles and grew up in Cleveland Hts. I go back to Cleveland every 4th of July for my mom's birthday (a promise I made to her when I was younger). This year she celebrated her 60th birthday and I wanted to get her a special cake to commemorate it. I flew in the day before without telling her that i was coming to town (she feigned surprise, but I think she kind of expected it ) and my dad and I went to Lucy's to get her a special Almond Pound Cake (she loves pound cake). Unfortunately, Mike (the owner) said that he couldn't make one on on such short notice, BUT he could make a "California Cake" -- a layer cake with apricot, strawberry, and raspberry filling covered with homemade buttercream icing (no lie -- it was the sweetest, lightest icing I've ever had). We ordered the cake and returned the next day to pick it up. It was beautiful and artfully decorated with the amount of care that you'd expect from a REAL pastry shop. On top of it all, the cake was delicious! Needless to say, my mom loved it. Trust me when I say I'll be going back to Lucy's again. It's not far from Shaker Square on Buckeye. Go see for yourself. Whatever you try at Lucy's I'm sure you'll love it, too.
