A favorite of mine for years. The 11 pools, landscape, hardscape and lighting transform the grounds into a magical place in the evenings. The air is warm and dry and there are many places to explore on the grounds or relax on the terraced patio and enjoy live music while sipping a cocktail. The outside area has private nooks tucked away among lighted palm trees and soothing fountains. They are private enough for romantic conversations by flickering candlelight set on the table but the servers will not forget to stop by to ask you if you need anything. The service is 5 star. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it never fails to live up to my high expectations. They have a spectacular 4th of July Fireworks display if you are willing to tolerate a filled-to-capacity resort for a few days. The pool will be crowded and has a 2 story high water slide that the kids will love. They also have an adults only pool if you are looking for a more romantic stay without kids. The Hyatt is not inexpensive but I find the experience to be worth the price. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and the beds are luxuriously clean and comfortable. Just make sure that you request a room that is away from the band unless you want to hear the band playing until midnight or you will be out of your room until then. I recommend self parking unless you want to pay an additional $20 for the hotel staff to park your car. Forgetting about the fee, I have found that it takes them a long time to get your car if they park it so I think the self parking is a better idea. Everything here is top notch and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. As you drive away to return home you will already be thinking about when you can come back!
