Well I DID like this place until yesterday.
I scheduled an appointment for my 2 year old 6 months ago at his last check up. I confirmed the appointment via email they sent in mid-October. And then again on the Thursday before his appointment via phone to provide insurance info. His appointment was scheduled for Monday at 7:30am. We woke early, drove about 30 minutes in traffic and signed in.... Only to be told we would have to reschedule because "the pediatric dentist doesn't work on Mondays."
I think my response was "huh?" Because one would not expect that at a place called Every KIDs Dentist. But ok. No explanation as to how I could have confirmed the appointment TWICE, once just two business days before - yet in the 6 months it had been on the books no one thought, "hey, we should check that there are no appointments with a pediatric dentist on the days he doesn't work". But, ok. So she keeps saying "Dr. Lamb" so I had to ask - who is that? That isn't the dentist we have been seeing or made the appointment with. Oh? That guy? Yeah.. He left the practice. I am happy for him (we really liked him!) and I am sure Dr Lamb is great - but that's probably ANOTHER thing you might tell patients BEFORE they're sitting in your office for their appointment that apparently can't happen.
I was told the "girl that handles pediatric stuff" would call me today. Did I get a call? Nope.
So, since we have to try a new doctor anyway, we will be doing it elsewhere.
Thanks, Every Kids Dentist, for being so inept at something as simple as scheduling that you wasted 2 hours of my Monday morning. On the plus side - the Einstein Bagel next door had 12 bagels for $6.50 on Monday mornings. So my coworkers do thank you.
