| - I cannot begin to describe the horrendous experience we had here with our newborn daughter. Whatever you do, never take your children here and think twice before you go yourself. We had had decent experiences here int he past, but we recognized no one there this time and it did not seem like the same place whatsoever. We had made an appointment (as is required there), got there a little early to check in and then proceeded to wait at least twenty minutes before we finally knocked on the office door to see if we could get anyone to even acknowledge our presence. We were there with our 3 year old and our poor five day old needed to get her blood drawn, a little timeliness was definitely needed! My husband eventually had to take our son out because we were waiting forever right before naptime and no one was helping us. The woman in the office got them to finally at least get the process started. We finally were taken back for the blood draw and they had to prick her poor tiny feet three times to get what they needed! We had the same test done in the hospital numerous times and they all were able to get it on the first try... The story amazingly does not end there.
This was a stat test and we did not hear back that afternoon. When I got the call the next morning from them, I was expecting the results, but no. The person informed me that not enough blood had been taken and I would have to bring my newborn in again to have the blood redrawn! I cannot tell you how livid I was. I drove her right over and they couldn't even find the order. They called around and eventually found it. After that, I heard them talking behind the door (the window is open, so just because you can't see them, does not mean you can't hear them!) about the draw and the one that did it first talking about how she knows that she took enough blood the day before and there was no way she was going to be the one to do it that day. All of the employees then began talking about how each did not want to do it. Man was my confidence in them just soaring... Horrendous customer service in every way! One eventually volunteered to do it and then had to prick my daughter three times to get enough blood!!! She even blamed my poor newborn for it. I am sorry, but no it was her incompetency and I was in no mood to be joking around, let alone trying to blame my daughter for her blood clotting! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience.
We will not only never go to this location again, we will never use Sonora Quest, we will go to any other company that we are able, and suggest that you do too.
