| - I have to admit, even though the salon was short staffed and we had to wait a REALLY long time...the only thing stopping me from giving the salon 2 stars are the employees that work here.
I had called ahead a few days prior and booked an appointment for my two sisters and myself for 6:30pm. When we arrived at 6:30, there were only 2 employees there already working on customers and one lady also waiting. They said, they should be ready in about 30 minutes for us and that they were short staffed as the other 2 employees had leave due to an emergency and doctors appointment. Ok fine, came back a little while shortly and we still had to wait. One of my sisters decided to leave as it was getting late and she didn't want to get home late.
My other sister got her pedicure started around 7:15pm and I got mine started around 7:30pm. So pretty much an hour wait and I understand, you're short staffed but don't tell your customers 30 minutes if it will take longer. They apologized for the long wait, but I would have appreciated a call letting me know prior to my appointment that they were short staffed and if I would have been interested in re-booking or ask if I'm okay to wait if I choose to still come in.
Anyway, aside from the really long wait time, you're probably better off just doing a walk-in. The two men that were the only ones there working were extremely pleasant and if it wasn't for them, I would probably have been bitter the whole time. They were friendly and polite. Also, even though they were very busy, the person doing my pedicure still did a good job and didn't rush through doing my pedicure which I really appreciated after the long wait.
Truthfully, I probably wouldn't go back to this location for an appointment due to the long wait time, but if I'm in the plaza and need a pedi or want to kill time, if they're not busy...I would go back as they still did a good job on my feet.
Also, this location offers Bio Seaweed Gel polish which is a healthier gel choice. It is LED/UV/solar cured, meaning you don't have to wait for your nails to dry or be worried of smudging your polish when you leave the salon. I personally use this brand of gel polish, not at this salon, but it works great on my nails. Great choice by the salon owner to have this product at their location!
They have an amazing location as there's not many nail salons in the trinity common area and I don't think there has ever been one in this plaza before either. I wish them the best of luck on the new location.
