  • I'm always amazed at how much more affordable coffeehouse items are in Madison, especially places like Michelangelo's. I was quite a regular here when I lived in Madison in the late 90s-early aughts. Michelangelo's opens early and stays open late, perfect for reading, studying, grading, working on projects, etc. Free wi-fi and several multi-plug outlets for major convenience. The bathrooms are now gender neutral. And the iced chai is still amazing. And, they have vegan items! A hop away from the Concourse Hotel and a short walk from the Capitol.
