  • This is usually a happy story to visit and shop; today I got aggravated by a rude employee. I spent almost $60 at Pet Smart Store #1040 (13764 W Bell Rd, Surprise, Arizona 85374). When I asked for assistance for a product in the cat department, I was taken to a blond lady with glasses chatting with a co-worker. The associate said she worked in that (cat) department. Instead of acknowledging my presence, she continued to chat with a co-worker. After waiting there for about 30 seconds being ignored (after the other associate took me to her), I excused myself for interrupting to ask for a product and her response was to sigh. Without making eye contact, she said "Follow me" and walked away. She took me to two places until she finally found the product I was looking for (Nature's Miracle for removing urine stains). She preceded to hand me a gallon size. When I asked if she had a smaller bottle like on another shelf, she sighed again, looked up and claimed that ANY cleaner would work as well. When I asked if she had one with the large yellow label specifically for urine, as did the gallon size, she sighed a third time and repeated that any other cleaner would do the same thing! Upon check-out, I briefly told that cashier that she was rude to me. The cashier responded as if it was MY misunderstanding! I'm a regular customer at this Pet Smart branch, but they have lost my business after today.
