  • I just had the best experience EVER at National in Toronto - I landed, traveling alone with my toddler & a million bags, only to find out that thrifty had canceled my reservation because I was late - and they had no cars left! The man working at the desk was very nice and took me over to National - he told me I could get the same rate - well, I got a BETTER rate at National, and a really nice car. They were so accommodating. When I returned the car, I brought it back to the wrong terminal, and the woman who checked me in took me over to the right terminal - it was the most kind thing in the world, I don't know what I would have done with my toddler and 5 bags in the freezing cold. I will ALWAYS rent from National in the future!
