Needed dinner reservations NYE and Eddies had a spot open. I wasn't expecting to love it after reading some of the poor reviews. Yet we did love it! For me it had the trifecta: excellent food, good service and a great ambiance.
Food first... We shared the Lobster Bisque and as the guy from Maine said, who recommended it, it was "legit". Perfect bisque. My husband had what he described as a "perfectly cooked for once" filet and I had melt in the mouth sea bass. The service was personable and just attentive enough. The room is warm and modern at the same time. I'm tired of restaurants you can't hear in because of hard surface modern decor.
But my favorite thing was watching the owner serve food, bus tables, chat with customers and actually WORK in his place.
We plan on being regulars!
