| - Decent coffee. My review is based on global coffee standard, not local standards, so will be lower than most.
They roast their own beans in-house which is nice.
Ordered a cortado as I'm untrusting of straight espresso at new places. They do full extraction shots, not ristretto shots. They really need to do ristretto shots with their beans. The coffee is bitter even as a cortado. Hint of sweetness in the background. If I can convince the barista to do a ristretto shot, I think their coffee may very well shine and I'd get an espresso. Next time, maybe.
Based in local standards in Phoenix, they'd get 4 stars, maybe a 4.5 if they were extracting ristretto shots. I can see their dedication, but they need to spend a few weeks traveling to major cities and seeing what others are doing, lots of room for improvement here, but so far the best coffee I have found in Phoenix.
WiFi is weird. 4 ms ping is amazing, but really slow speeds. Need to ask for password, which I think is better than an open network as it cuts out the leeches.
Restrooms were clean and fresh.
Global score, 3. Local score, 4.
