  • DR. FORNARA IS THE BEST VET EVER!!!! The staff is also a five star premium bonus!!! They all deserve raises! Why am I so enthusiastic? Well, my hubby and I take in hound breed dogs (for the last 14 years) that are old and/or have physical issues. These Love Puppies are the kinds of dogs that nobody wants....except us. We take a lot of flack from people about the money it costs to care for them but if they only knew what we get in return....A feeling that no amount of money can buy. Because of the amount of health issues that our doggies can have...We have to have good Veterinary support. We have five sometimes six loves at a time. Don and I have found this kind of support at Alta Mesa Animal Hospital. I am glad that Dr. Fornara and Whitney (Office Manager) are at the helm of this ark! Since changing from our last vet, we have changed to a well oiled machine. Not only does the business run well but Dr. Fornara and the entire staff (the new vet also-Dr. Shared) are compassionate and understanding about patient's people families. My pets are EVERYTHING to me. We feel very blessed and fortunate to have found Alta Mesa Animal Hospital! Oh yes, one other thing...I am very proud to hand out Alta Mesa's business cards from our own business, friends, and any caring pet parent! xoxo Pam, Don, Daisy, Dexter, Dude, Holly, and Harry (and recently Sunny Wiggles R.I.P.)
