  • Diner Deluxe just isn't the same since the original owners sold. I've noticed that the prices have gone up and the quality of the food and ingredients have gone down. Long gone are the sun dried tomatoes in the mac and cheese and the lovely forest omelette, replaced with just a diced up pedestrian tomato. The homemade jams were such a treat, now replaced with your regular, packaged jams. All the special touches seem to be lacking. The long waits continue but you know what, there are better options out there. Service can be hit or miss as well. Sorry DD, you've changed and not in a good way.
