| - The environment was very chic, however, the service was substandard. I ordered a dish and after waiting almost 45 minutes, I finally asked a server (my server was nowhere to be found) about my meal. After another 10 minutes, my server finally showed up and attempted to shift responsibility onto the chef, claiming that the chef ran out of the key ingredients for my dish. My server then claimed that he had attempted to pass this message on to someone else to inform me, but they did not. Between all of this, I also reminded them I had not received the iced tea which had been taken away to be refilled. The server flippantly shifted the blame upon one of my dining companions, saying that they must have taken my drink.
What an odd situation, I thought... Here I was waiting for my dish for much longer than expected, and it seemed that nobody was responsible for the wait... It was merely bad fortune, the server seemed to think.
The server then offered me an appetizer or a salad, I chose a salad, optimistically believing the restaurant would make it right and offer it on the house. Not so, I learned later on.
In the end, I waited an hour for an overpriced salad and had to deal with a server who missed the mark on an opportunity to salvage the experience.
