  • This is the very best place to make an out-of-town guest feel special. Mandarin Oriental is situated between City Center and the Monte Carlo, but you won't find any flashy, gaudy signs directing you to this peaceful, classy locale sitting quietly on Las Vegas Boulevard. Having been here several times, I knew it to be a place that leaves quite an impression on newcomers. I took a recently divorced friend here to welcome her to a new chapter in life, and what a new perspective it was for her to see the city from a serene, dark and cozy lounge high above the Strip. Customer service here has always been great and gotta love the little snack trays. Mandarin Oriental is a beautiful, quiet flower on the Strip that sits humble with her symbolic fan, not needing to boast or draw attention. It doesn't need it. Mandarin Bar knows it's special and only those who really appreciate quality will make the effort to see her. 5 stars, easily.
