Yesterday I noticed a metal object in the tread of my driver side front tire. I had just had service at the dealer's service center which included a tire rotation. Since I had only driven six miles since that service I believe it's highly likely the nail (which is what it was) was present in he tire when it was rotated. Obviously it was missed by the technician.
I immediately drove to Discount Tire on Flamingo east of Ft. Apache. They repaired my tire putting a plug and patch in place at no charge which is their practice.
I have always bought tires for my cars, my wife's cars and even a golf cart from Discount Tire, specifically this location. Their prices are fair, the selection outstanding (occasionally a specific model of tire has to be ordered which takes a few days) and the service is outstanding. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The waiting area is clean and comfortable with cold water and hot coffee provided. The wait is always what they tell you. I don't even look around when I need tires as Discount Tire is a company which has earned my loyalty through their actions.
