  • The food was delicious, the atmosphere was a feeling of being in the mafia style diner of the old days. The host was pleasant and welcoming, and they had The Godfather playing on of the flat screens behind the bar while a talented singer played Sinatra and Tony Bennett songs. We ordered the Bust-A-Cap appetizer which is mushroom caps stuff with ham and cheese. For the entrées, our food came with a choice of soup or salad, now on the menu it says no additional charge for the salad, my only discrepancy is that they charged an additional $2 for the salad on my bill for some reason, but my date enjoyed it very much so I didn't complain about it, just wish I knew why they snuck that charge in there. I ordered the Santucci's Pasta, spaghetti noodles in homemade pasta sauce and homemade meatball which was massive and very tasty even the sauce was really good compared to the store bought stuff. My date ordered the lasagna which was a HUGE chunk in a bowl and she enjoyed it immensely but needed a to-go box to take 3/4 of it home. Overall the experience was great but the only thing i'll have to keep an eye on next time is the reason there is a unsuspecting surcharge to the salad that says on the menu that it comes with the entrée.
