  • Dr. A and his staff provide the best experience for your pet, and the pet parent! My senior mini dachshund is fat... Every Vet (and I tried several) in Arizona and Nevada... all said cut back on food...One Vet had him on prescription diet food, and no treats..NONE... for a year...He lost about a pound on that starvation diet. And, I felt like a horrible pet parent... Dr. A listened, and diagnosed via lab tests and a "caring to check" attitude that my little guy was suffering from Cushing's disease. Dr. A put him on medication, and continues to manage his disease. My boy is obviously feeling better because, he is much peppier and continues to lose weight without being "starved"... Without Dr. A,, my boy would no doubt have developed all the problems of overweight dachshunds...Or, perhaps I would have lost him altogether... I am very grateful to Dr. A. for his knowledge, his caring and for just taking the time to really diagnose and get it right...Instead of just saying, "feed him less"...and presenting a bill...
