| - I've been a fan of the Lizard since way back when they still put a mound of corned beef on top of the side salads (now its just crumbled bacon). I'm still a regular, and I still love the beer list, and the servers know their stuff. The menu stays fresh by adding seasonal specials. Among the fave's on the standard menu, the Cajun Chicken Wrap, the humongous fish sandwich and the black bean burger. I'll be honest, I know it's a wing place, but they just aren't my thing. Not to say theirs aren't a fine example of the craft of wing making, I just don't care for them much. I've had just about everything else on the menu at least once and have never been disappointed. On the occasion that I do get a craving for a burger, this is where I go. They seem to actually understand what cooked "medium" means and they'll pretty much top it how you like. The view remains Deluxe and the patio is really nice in the summer. The only downfall of the patio is I hate the smell of cigarettes and I really wish people would take their stink elsewhere (they have a specified smoking deck in the back for example), but I know that will never change. The only other complaint is the too-small parking lot, but I know they opened a stair case in the summer so you can more easily get to the overflow in the lot down the hill. Anyhow it's still my regular joint, I'm still the duke, and I plan to keep coming back.
