I brought my car in to have the wheel bearings looked at. When I picked up my car, both sides of my bumper were cracked, the grill was bent and not fully attached. The bumper was not fully attached also. There was no need to take the front bumper off to check the wheel bearings. I spoke to the front office person and he said to bring it back in when the manager, Ben, is in the office. I brought the car back in on the following Tuesday. Ben proceeded to accuse me of basically lying by stating, his words exactly, "So you're telling me you didn't bring it in this way?" I said no and he still questioned me. I said I spoke to my father - who builds race cars and automobile engines - and he said the bumper should have never have had to come off. He proceeded to then yell at me in front of my 10yo daughter and yell that my 'daddy ain't here". He said my car is worth only $450 per Kelly Blue Book and they're not giving me anything more than that. I said the bumper is damaged beyond repair and needs to be replaced. He continued to yell at me. He finally said he will submit to their insurance company. The alleged insurance company came back with in 2-3hrs and said KBB is only $500 and that's all i'm getting. Ben Howard, the manager, nor did anyone else at Purcell take photos of my car. I'm the only one that took photos. I have yet to get a check. Horrible place with a horrible manager.
