| - Such a cool bar, at first when you walk in, you get the divey feel and you prepare for the ultimate, local stare-down, but no, not here.
Our bartender walked out of the bar and greeted us, asked right away if she can get us anything.
We both ordered the Blind Russian, arrived in a tall 16 oz Pabst glass - $5 what a deal, and strong too!
They had a nice buffet-style spread of Irish themed dishes in crock pots, and trays of desserts on the pool table. We just wanted cookies since we had already ate, and another friendly bartender/short order cook told us to load up our plate to our hearts content for $1!!
The owner's wife had made her specialty dessert, it was a green concoction of pistachio fluff, angel food cake, and pineapple bits. Seriously amazing!
Had fun bantering with our cheery bartender (I forgot her name! Which is a shame because I'd definitely seek her out again!) and local patrons.
I have the most fun in little, local bars like this!
P.S. They serve food! I will absolutely come back here again and try the food next time.
