| - I was in 5th grade and was part of the opening ceremony for this location. Despite the transient activity, I think they continue to do a great job to maintain the facility clean. When my kids were smaller this library was one of the most visited for us because of the stairs, the elevator with the glass windows and the great kid section with the small, kid size bathrooms! They have a great selection of movies, new recent movies too as well as classics. Each floor is dedicated to a different section of books and they have a great number of private desks. The really bad part of this library is the computer reservations, they're always busy. You can't just walk in and expect to use one, it could take up to 2 hrs.....but as you may understand, it's because of the users. I think it's great that the services are free for everyone. I would like to see more security walking around throughout the building, it would make it more secure. Additionally, on the first floor where the kid section is, it is surrounded by beautiful windows that unfortunately offer a big view of the outside which displays the transients and their not so appropriate behavior. If you are looking for a really great library with books and additonal research material this is the perfect place. But, if you're narrow minded and really particular about dive areas then you may be off put by it's public clientele.
