  • My first visit to Pinky was great. I have a severe latex allergy and asked them what kind of gloves they used and they said they only use nitrile gloves. She even showed me the box. Unfortunately, my second visit was NOT good and downright dangerous. This time I went and I saw the nail technician put on what were obviously latex gloves. I asked her if they were latex and she told me no. I asked her to actually show me the box and sure enough they were latex. I then asked her to switch to nitrile gloves, so she did. Ultimately, I should have left after I was misled about the latex gloves. After she started cutting the nails she took off the tip of my toe. I've never had a nail technician do that. Thankfully it didn't bleed too much. I got up and left right after that happened. I'm just grateful it happened to me and not my 9 year old daughter. I'm sad because I really liked this place the first time I went.
