rev:text	I honestly thought that Sunny Plumber was coming to our rescue when after 3 days in our new home, the sewage backed up and flooded portions of our main floor. Understanding that Sunny Plumber had been the service the previous owners used, I called them. They unclogged the main line immediately which was a great relief...but....they suggested a camera view to ensure there were no blockages, leaks or breaks. This could not be done until the manager came which was going to be the next morning. Much to my surprise (little did I know) the manager "just happen to be nearby" and came to view the main line. At this point, I was told I needed to call my husband as this was going to be expensive (don't get me started on this topic). They continued to build this issue up so large and scary - "it had to be done now or the situation would be disastrous". They said they needed to call the city and went to their trucks for quite some time. Finally they came in to say once again it was going to be very expensive and I should get my husband. The 3 of them went back outside to work up a quote. Once complete - it included replacing the main line out to the middle of the street, barricades, steel plates for the street, blacktop removal & replace, concrete removal & replace, sidewalk removal & replace and the necessary permits for $$,$$$ - that's right 5 figures, more than I paid for my car! They wanted to start that night and wanted me to sign the work order to get started. Needless to say, I got a second opinion who recommended I call the city - city took complete ownership of the issue, replaced the pipe, blacktop, concrete, sidewalk and did all the work at no cost to us. I feel these guys took advantage of an urgent situation and tried to instill fear to get us to sign the dotted line. To be fair, they did clear the original blockage and they did recommend a great restoration company - so I gave them 2 stars for that. My suggestion is to take a breath and get a second opinion before moving forward with Sunny Plumber.
