| - I thought that this was going to be a good living experience, and moving-out experience compared to the hell I experienced across the street at the Met. But I was wrong, it is WORSE.
Not only was it very loud to live at Skyline the entire year (people were extremely loud and disrespectful, and it didn't matter if you called security with noise complaints) it is very overpriced for what you get.
Upon move out, we left our apartment MUCH CLEANER than we received it, with an entry-way that had black tar stains from the complex's own garage. Now, after doing their inspection without informing us about it properly, they are trying to charge us over $1000 for carpet replacement because they supposedly cannot just replace the one section and have to replace the entire carpet in the 2-bedroom apartment! Even though the rest of it is in good condition, and according to Robert downstairs, the black spots are "normal" for the cleaners and would be taken care of. As a college student, I am horrified how I am being taken advantage of by a large corporation who can afford to pay for their own carpet that they "think" should be replaced.
FAKE MANAGEMENT AND POOR TREATMENT OF THEIR RESIDENTS! Save your time, money, and frustration, and pick an apartment in one of the many new complexes of downtown. Do not drink the Kool-Aid Skyline tries to offer you.
