  • Quick run down... Octavius (newest) Augustus (DIRECT VIEW of BELLAGIO fountain - very nice) Palace/Forum (ehhh) Roman (AVOID) Caesar's Palace is almost 5 different hotels because depending on which tower you stay in, it'll totally make or break your experience. With that being said, I have also ranked them from best to worst. Be wary if you book on travel sites such as Expedia because the "LOW" price...what you will get is the "ancient" aka OUTDATED Roman tower rooms. For the true experience, try getting the Octavius or Augustus tower rooms. The rooms are right by the lobby and only a short elevator ride to the pool. Our Augustus deluxe king room was SUPER spacious and had a nice bathroom with his/her sinks, separate soaking tub and a huge shower. We also got a nice view of the Bellagio fountains. It's one of the TRUE resort hotels in Las Vegas. One of the best pools, had tons of dining options, Omnia Nightclub, Bacchanal Buffet, and the Forum Shops...the property sprawls the Strip. Even from the boulevard, walking on the Strip...it can take up to 15 minutes to clear it. As one of the mainstays in Las Vegas, the pricing here isn't cheap. It may not be as expensive as the Cosmo or Wynn/Encore but it's definitely up there. For any discounts, be sure to sign up for their Total Rewards cards...even as a gold member, they will send you discounts and offers. Speaking of their Player's Cards...they definitely cater toward their Diamond and 7 Star level players here at Caesar's. Priority check-in, line cuts, premium this..premium that...yadada...even the main valet is only open for diamond/7 star players when it's busy. Caesar's Palace is one of the high end properties within the Total Rewards program, so it'll take care of it's players. I also like how the Diamond Lounge is right by the Octavius/Augustus Towers and not hidden in the casino like other ones. For some classic Vegas history with modern day luxury...I would definitely recommend it. 4 stars because you can definitely find a better deal, but hey it's Vegas and it's okay to splurge!
