Used one of their "Wild Card" deals to get a bargain on a rental car we will only use for a day or two for the week we are there. Initially picking up the car, the sales agent was almost to the point of forcing us to upgrade. I was at the point I would have told them to forget it and I will rent from my normal agency. However, you need to prepay a non-refundable down payment when you get the Wild Card deal so they know they have you. There was no leaving and we just tolerated his insistence. He showed us pictures of cars that we "could" get and implied that we were too big to fit in them. He was not very happy with us when we would not give in and choose to stick with what we ordered. Be aware, that these vehicles are certainly going to be the compact cars. Even though the advertisement indicates you will fit 5 people and 2 bags, we had to put one bag in the truck area and one in the backseat. It was only two of us so still a good deal price wise to drive a go-kart for the week.
The car was not cleaned very good before we got it. The outside looked like it just went through a car wash, but we found dried french fries stuck to the carpet and two empty water bottles in the car.
If I knew we would be hassled and harassed like we were to upgrade I would never have made the choice to rent their.
