We visited Ikea this afternoon to have some cheap yummy food and to get ideas on how we would like our future place to look like. Okay, the trip was more to have some Ikea food lol.
It was quite busy and chaotic with all the kids running around in the kids section right by the cafe. They had several food options to choose from but Ikea is known for their Swedish meatballs so I ordered that. He got the roasted chicken and salad. The meatballs and the side of mashed potatoes were delicious! The roasted chicken was moist and better than the dry piece of chicken at Swiss Chalet.
Many tables were dirty and utensils were missing or lacking. It didn't seem like there were many employees in the cafe cleaning up the area. My boyfriend had to wipe down our table before we sat down.
After eating we began our way through Ikea looking at the various showrooms. It's not as chaotic as it is downstairs. The lines to get checked out were quite long so we decided to self-checkout. The self-checkout lines moved much faster but they don't accept cash.
When I was a kid I hated going to Ikea because it was so boring! Now that I'm older I enjoy looking at the various showrooms and getting ideas for my future dream home.
