| - Toronto was the last stop on a trans-Atlantic, NYC, New England, Quebec, Niagara Falls, Way-to-Much trip. And I chose this hotel. How awesome am I?
This is one of only two hotels during our trip that actually was as it appeared to be on Internet.
We paid just over $200CAD per night for a king suite, which included a kitchenette and separate sleeping area for our niece. *We did have to request sheets for her and paid $20.00 per night *
Highlight: don't miss the hot tubs on the roof at night. Niece and I went up there around 10:00. Not only do you get beautiful views of the city, but they have a large screen tv. More interesting for us, the international crowd.
Downside: The neighborhood isn't transitional, it is bad. We were given advice to walk to King st. for dinner. Take a cab. We wish that we had. There are a lot of homeless people/drunks or drug addicts in the area. On the plus side, the hotel had a shuttle service that is free.
Ultimately, I enjoyed my stay here. The room, service and rooftop were fantastic.
