I WOULD RATHER WALK AROUND VEGAS FOR A WEEK than rent a car from this Avis location.
The worst customer service I have Ever experienced from a car rental company. My boyfriend and I booked a car through our timeshare. When we arrived we were assigned a car. When we located the car in the parking garage we noticed damage on the drivers lower door. We inspected the car more and noticed scratches on the hood and roof. Before leaving the lot we had to ask the lot employee to note the damage, which he was reluctant to do . Saying "oh we know about that its no big deal". I am not okay with that which is why I wanted him to write on our paper work. He rolled his eyes at us as he noted the damage.
We extended our rental by two days which cost more than the week rental we had.(218. 00) for just two days extra.
Upon returning the car, the lot employees didn't greet us or say anything to us. The employees that were there disappeared into a small office. We unloaded our bags and waited to give the employees the keys. When the Avis employees finally approached us it was a different set of employees. They immediately began to accuse us of causing the drivers door damage. Saying we were going to pay and that they were going to turn us in. I explained the damage was there and they did not believe me , they laughed at us and said we were going to pay .We showed them the Avis paper their employee signed stating the damage was there. With attitude they waived us on, they never said another word to us.
Today in the mail i found a bill from Avis for $508.73 for damage to the rental car we rented.
The Avis customer Care is the worst, they offered no help what so ever. Claiming they have no authority to help with a bill dispute.I asked if employee Israel would call a supervisor and get them on the line for me to speak to. He said he could not call any Avis for a supervisor or help me to speak to the Las Vegas Avis office . So I hung up and spent an entire hour calling to speak to a supervisor at the number I was given 702 531 1500, There was never an answer.
I finally talked to a billing agent that doesn't work for Avis. I sent the agent the paper showing we did not damage the car. 2 hours later that agent said we did not have to pay due to our proof. Why did I have to waste 4 hours dealing with this?
Now I will never rent from any Avis location.
