I came here after work to meet a friend and I really like the ambience there.
It's just steps from the corner of Dundas and Bathurst and very easy to miss.
It's pretty small and comfy and it definitely feels like a stereotypical hipster bar and I surely stood out from the other people there as I wasn't sporting a beard, very skinny pants, lumberjack shirt, boots and chunky eyewear.
I sampled a couple of their popular cocktails which were ready in no time. I like the combination of ingredients but I found them to be a bit on the sweet side and not boozy enough. They went down like water.
I was surprised to see Manhattans and Sazeracs on tap, but when I asked the bartender how were they he said that they were okay. So as much as I like my Manhattans, I decided to skip this on tap despite the novelty factor, though it's reasonably priced at $7.
I really like the fast and friendly service and will come back again to try their other cocktails.
