  • We had our first lesson with Derek today. We called because our dog, Ruthie, would charge the door, leap at the glass window and bark hysterically. She had also nipped a few people. We are experienced dog owners, but have never had a dog that was so territorial about the door and anyone who came in it. Derek was patient and took a great deal of time with us. We were the ones that needed the training to speak our Ruthie's language. To my great surprise, we were able to control Ruthie by the end of the lesson. And that's despite have 5 workers painting the outside of our house! We are looking forward to practicing the new techniques and meeting again with Derek.
