| - We came here for a manicure and pedicure, found this place cuz of the great reviews of course.
Unfortunately, I did not have a 5 star experience. A few reasons--
During the pedicure, she asked me how short I want mine cut and I said really short. She didn't cut it at all, just filed it. I didn't ask for a French pedicure or anything so I didn't understand why she didn't want to cut it shorter. Needless to say, my pedicure didn't last because they grew out pretty fast.
During the manicure (with the same lady), I asked for a plain French manicure and she kept trying to deny me and up sell me on gel nails. I get the need to up sell and I bet it's easier to do gel, but I've already denied her and told her I don't like gel cuz I don't like the process it takes to remove. But that didn't stop her from asking me 3 more times and telling me how bad my plain French is gonna turn out and how it's not going to last. When she had to paint my nails, she made the polish really thick and didn't even clean up the lines. I don't know if she did it on purpose to make me regret not getting the gel or she was just extra lazy. Whatever it is, I was unhappy. I took em off after a day cuz I couldn't stand to look at them anymore.
Last reason is it was a little over priced. I paid abt $90 for 2 regular mani pedis (1 really bad French). Not including tip. I guess the price isn't insane and I figured I was paying for the service and the fancy decorations in the boutique. But the service was not worth the price.
The guy who worked there seemed like the manager or something and he was kind, but the receptionist lady wasn't. Young girl, texting the whole time, barely made eye contact and smiled at us.
What are you gonna do?!... Oh write a yelp review! Just wanted to share my experience.
